Q2 2024 Android Performance of Virtual Fitness Apps in the US

The second quarter of 2024 has been an active season for virtual fitness programs on the Android platform. Sensor Tower has provided a snapshot of how five popular applications have fared in the US during this period.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike saw its revenue decrease over the quarter, starting at $871K in the first week of April and ending at $351K in the last week of June. Downloads showed a slight increase from 418K to 434K, while weekly active users dipped from 12.7M to 11.9M.

Dancefitme: Fun Workouts experienced fluctuations in both revenue and downloads. Revenue peaked at $190K in the final week of June, while downloads reached a high of 826K in the second week of June. Active users saw a peak of 1.1M in early June before settling at 999K.

Fitbit demonstrated growth in revenue from $50K to $198K, while downloads remained relatively steady, ending the quarter at 74K. Weekly active users showed a slight increase from 1.3M to 1.1M over the three-month period.

Yoga-Go: Yoga For Weight Loss showed a revenue decrease, with the beginning of April at $189K and the end of June at $70K. Downloads decreased from 459K to 88K, alongside a decrease in active users from 1.1M to 515K.

Lastly, Freeletics: Fitness Workouts saw its revenue peak at $189K in the first week of April before ending at $121K. Downloads had a mid-quarter high at 257K but ended at 126K, while active users decreased from 1.3M to 980K.
